The lightweight carbon fiber chassis works together with strategically positioned brass components to achieve the ideal combination of chassis flex, weight distribution, and center of gravity. This combination provides excellent traction, predictable handling, and consistent performance across a wide range of track conditions.
Another key feature of the XB-SF is its front ride height adjustment system. Precision stainless steel shims are installed between the carbon chassis and the Simple Front assembly, allowing front ride height to be adjusted quickly and accurately without affecting camber, caster, or any other suspension settings. This enables fast, repeatable setup changes while preserving the car’s suspension geometry.
The redesigned damper plate features a new side spring geometry that has been carefully optimized to improve chassis rotation while maintaining stability and rear-end traction. By relocating the side spring mounting positions, the XB-SF delivers a more responsive feel through corner entry and mid-corner, resulting in improved rotation and overall balance.
To preserve the natural flex characteristics of the chassis, the XB-SF features a floating servo mount that prevents the servo from influencing chassis twist. This allows the chassis to flex exactly as intended, resulting in more consistent handling and improved cornering performance.
The redesigned center pivot assembly features a simplified design with improved precision, ensuring smoother suspension movement, easier maintenance, and greater consistency on the track.
The XB-SF also features the Xbility 3-Point Ball Differential, a design pioneered by Xbility that has become recognized for eliminating wheel play while maintaining exceptional drivetrain precision. Its unique three-point wheel mounting system ensures perfect wheel centering, smooth operation, efficient power delivery, and outstanding reliability.
The newly developed V2 motor mount lowers the motor position by 0.5 mm, reducing the center of gravity and improving chassis balance. Complementing this is the V2 brass left motor mount, which strategically adds weight where it is most effective to optimize left-to-right weight distribution and achieve the ideal chassis balance.
The XB-SF kit is supplied with one pair of 11 mm rear wheels, one pair of 8.5 mm front wheels, and one pair of 23 mm front side discs, providing the ideal wheel package for the Simple Front suspension straight out of the box.
